Join us for this RSA Watch event where you can meet and watch RSA talks together and discuss the ideas and concepts raised. We call this 'social watching'.

Inequality and how to address it has been an important theme of the work of the RSA and one that many speakers have explored over recent years. At this event, we'll be watching talks given by an extraordinary 'virtual panel', who each have an inspiring and very different perspective on this increasingly serious issue:

  • Prof. Angus Deaton (Nobel Prize Winner)
  • Prof. Danny Dorling (University of Oxford)
  • Prof. Robert Putnam (Harvard University)
  • Dr Helen Pearson (Chief Magazine Editor, Nature)

At January's RSA Watch Oxford, Fellows were keen to consider ways in which we could engage with the theme. Join us to discuss what action we can take to address inequality and social mobility, and how we might be able to make a significant impact in this area.

Drinks and light refreshments will be available. Come along for an evening of inspiring talks, informed discussion, and convivial company.

The event is free to attend, but please do book your place at the top of this page so we know that you're coming. If you have any questions, please contact Graham Wilson FRSA: gw@grahamwilson.org.

To let us know of any access requirements or reasonable adjustments you have, please email the RSA team: networks@rsa.org.uk.

Location: City of Oxford College, Oxpens Road, Oxford, OX1 1SA
