RSA Swansea: Lighting bonfires not fireworks

Fellowship events / Research & Impact Event

 -

Volcano Theatre, Swansea

With so many massive changes happening in the world today, we thought it urgent to bring together local doers and thinkers from RSA Cymru and beyond. There will be opportunities to share ideas, sparks, and support for positive change and maybe even a seismic shift.

We are inviting people who are making a difference in their community to share their ideas and inspiration as short presentations to catalyse discussion.  If you would like to make a short presentation, please contact Phill (see details below).

We also want people to come with ideas and experiences that they have seen beyond Wales that might be replicated or adapted in our communities. RSA Wales/Cymru is going to be focusing on the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act in Wales, which encourages grassroots Wales to make an impact in an inside out way (rather than bottom up). For those who don’t know much about the act, there are seven goals: low carbon prosperity; biodiverse resilience; holistic health and wellbeing; equality for all; cohesive communities; thriving culture and Welsh language; and global responsibility - looking out, not just inward.

If you have any questions, please contact Phill Burton: Phill@dynamix.coop

If you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please email the RSA team: networks@rsa.org.uk.
