RSA Liverpool: The notion of Character in the 21st Century

Fellowship Event

 -

Liverpool Quaker Meeting House, Liverpool

  • Behaviour change
  • Fellowship

Revisiting and reasserting the notion of 'character' in the 21st century: problems, processes, and possibilities.

Professor Peter Stokes FRSA will present his study of character; what it is, how it is formed, and the consequences of how different aspects play out in varying situations. In the contemporary context, Peter argues it is timely to centre stage a deeper investigation into the nature and operation of character in organisations, institutions, society, and public life.

The talk will embrace a range of domains including politics, control, and leadership as we explore how our everyday choices, micro-moments, and extremes can play a role in the changes we face in the 21st century.

Following the talk, there will be a Q&A session and an opportunity to continue the discussion whilst connecting with local Fellows.
