RSA Ideas: Online is a simple event format that allows Fellows to share ideas with others in a variety of locations. Fellows can be looking for advice, support, or fresh thinking - RSA Ideas draws on the expertise of our network to help people turn their ideas into reality.

Join us online on 7 June 2018, 19:00-20:30 to:

  • Give a three-minute pitch on the night
  • Help others by sharing thoughts, suggestions, expertise, and connections in a supportive environment
  • Meet other Fellows and social entrepreneurs from all over the world
  • Play your part in turning great ideas into a reality with the RSA

19.15: Pitches begin and ideas start bouncing

If you are interested in pitching, please register to attend on Eventbrite through the 'Book Now' link at the top of this page. When filling in your attendee details, you will see the last question on the form is 'do you wish to pitch your project or idea?'. When you select 'yes', an accompanying drop down menu will appear asking for some additional information, including the name of your project/idea, and a short description of less than 30 words. If you would like to pitch, please register and fill this in by 20 May 2018. Your place to pitch will be confirmed by the RSA team no later than 31 May 2018.

If you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please let the team know: engagement@rsa.org.uk

What is RSA Ideas?

RSA Ideas events are a space for Fellows to share their ideas and early-stage projects with others in an open, collaborative, and creative environment. RSA Ideas is designed for groups of up to 40 people to ensure everyone attending is able to participate fully and contribute to the event. Drawing on the expertise of our network, RSA Ideas helps people shape their ideas and turn them into a reality.

What’s the format?

RSA Ideas is an informal event but is well structured and packs a lot in to one session. The online iteration of this event will feature breakout rooms following on from pitches, plenary discussion, and presentations from pitchers. Each pitch lasts three minutes and is followed by a further three minutes for audience members to ask questions, make suggestions, or challenge the pitcher's thinking. As time is limited, participants can also share their thoughts/ideas in the chat function on Zoom, the online platform used for this event.

Who can attend?

Our Fellowship events are free to attend, but due to their popularity we ask that you please register in advance by following the ‘Book Now’ link at the top of this page. We welcome non-Fellows who support the work of the RSA and those who are interested in finding out more about Fellowship. You can only book one ticket at a time so if you would like to invite a guest, please send them this link and ask them to sign up.
