Join the RSA Melbourne Network as we learn how slavery persists in the modern world. Explore what Australian people, businesses, governments and civil society can do to take up this issue.

Slavery is a serious and often hidden crime. It happens when someone can profit from the theft of life and labour. Slavery is being found in Australian building, farming, fishing, hospitality and service industries as well as the overseas supply chains of businesses.

In conversation with Roscoe Howell of Slavery Links Australia, we will discuss how slavery operates and what actions people can take. We will explore how to reduce our exposure to slavery by changing the ways Australians make decisions.

This is a free event open to the public. Please direct any questions to philipa.duthie@thersa.org.
