The great political debate of the last century was how much of our collective life should be determined by the state, and what should be left to the market and civil society. Join Jamie Susskind for a lecture on Future Politics: how digital technology from AI to blockchain is set to transform power, freedom, justice, and democracy.
Jamie Susskind is an author and practising barrister at Littleton Chambers. A graduate of the University of Oxford and a past Fellow of Harvard University's Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society, he is the author of Future Politics: Living Together in a World Transformed by Tech (OUP, 2018), described by Gordon Brown as "groundbreaking" and the Guardian as "crucial reading".
