2020 will be a big year for Essex. The British Science Festival will be hosted by Anglia Ruskin University for the first time in its 189-year history. This will mark the culmination of “Essex 2020” - a year of creativity focused on both science and art. Plans for a year-long programme of events are already in development.

Come along to learn more about Essex 2020. We’ll also be talking about opportunities to engage with the festival, and generating some early-stage ideas for events and projects that could be linked to Essex 2020. For any ideas that are taken forward, there will be an opportunity to pitch at our next “Ideas Aloud” on 16th May - you can register and find out more information here

The event will take place at The Transition. Please arrive from 6.30pm for refreshments and conversation, ready to be in your seats at 7pm for the presentations to begin.

If you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please let the team know: [email protected]. Please also let us know if you have any dietary requirements or severe allergies.

Do let us know you’re coming by booking your place (above).

Location: The Transition, The Anne Knight Buildings, Fenton Court, City Park West, Chelmsford, CM1 1LW
