RSA Cities of Learning - Learning systems for Inclusive Growth

This event is focused on launching Cities of Learning, a joint RSA, DigitalMe project with local partners RIO and Plymouth City Council.

 Cities of Learning is a mass engagement movement that glues all the opportunities for learning across the city and presents it in a way that encourages and rewards participation. We want to empower learning providers to issue digital credentials that capture the breadth of relevant learning taking place.

This event will be a focused conversation about the potential and opportunity of Cities of Learning for Plymouth. We hope to think about - What agendas can Cities of Learning facilitate and enable? How can people get involved, what opportunities does it open up, and what happens next…?

2.45pm – refreshments and registration

3.00-3.10pm – opening remarks, welcome and intro from Lou, Jonathan and Simon

3.10-4.00pm –What difference could cities of learning make to Plymouth (what projects/existing agendas could it be used to develop)

4.00-4.10pm – Break

4.10-4.20pm – Being an issuer

4.20-4.40pm – Being an opportunity provider/ supporter

4.40-4.50pm – feedback session, chaired by LM, JC, SW

4.50-5pm – summary, thanks, wrap-up + next steps

45 minutes – post-event drinks and networking
