RSA Northampton: the arts and social action

Fellowship Event

 -

Senate Building (first floor), University of Northampton

  • Fellowship
  • Fellowship in Action

Please join us for a special RSA Northampton meetup to celebrate the first project supported by local Fellows.

For the past four months, four professional artists have been working with vulnerable women in Northampton alongside C2C Social Action, a Northamptonshire charity providing support to any individual at any stage of the Criminal Justice System. The project was developed and managed by Sally Sheinman FRSA, and is funded by Arts Council England.

At this event, there’ll be an opportunity to meet the artists (Sophie Cero, Emma Davies FRSA, Jessica Harby and Annabelle Shelton) and C2C Social Action, learn more about the project and help us plan the next steps.

We’ll also reflect more widely on the role of the arts in civic society and begin to consider other local projects Fellows might be able to support – please come with ideas we can act on.

This event is free to attend and we welcome Fellows, friends, family and colleagues who are interested in the work of the RSA. There will be time for networking; light refreshments will be available.

Please book your place using the booking link above.

Please book your parking space in advance here: Visitor Car Parking Booking System. If you prefer to use the park and ride bus, a map is attached, as is a map of the campus itself.

If you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please let the team know: [email protected]. Please also let us know if you have any dietary requirements or severe allergies.

Location: Morley Room, Senate Building (first floor), University of Northampton, Waterside Campus, University Drive, Northampton NN1 5PH
