RSA Bath and What Next? – Wellbeing in Bath

Fellowship Event

 -

BRLSI Bath, BA1 2HN

  • Fellowship
  • Fellowship in Action

Join us for our July meetup to connect with other Fellows in the Bath area.

This month we are partnering with the What Next? West Chapter as part of their ‘Arts, Culture and Wellbeing’ series.  (What Next? is a movement bringing together arts and cultural organisations from across the UK, to articulate, champion and strengthen the role of culture in our society).

A key theme we have been discussing as part of our meet ups has been wellbeing so it seems fitting to collaborate with other local groups and find out how RSA Fellows can contribute or spark ideas at this joint session.

We are very pleased to welcome Professor Sarah C. White (Professor of International Development and Wellbeing at University of Bath) whose research features within the 2017 All-Party Parliamentary Group on Arts, Health and Wellbeing Inquiry Report Creative Health report. Professor White is the editor of Cultures of Wellbeing: Method, Place, Policy (2015, Palgrave Macmillan): Highlighting the politics of quantitative and qualitative methodologies, case studies across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the UK explore wellbeing in relation to health, children and youth, migration, economics, religion, family, landmines, national surveys, and indigenous identities.

We look forward to seeing you there!

If you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please let the team know: [email protected]. Please also let us know if you have any dietary requirements or severe allergies.

Location: BRLSI Bath, 16-18 Queen Square, Bath BA1 2HN
