Join us on Friday 6th September for the first of a new series of special events which will bring Fellows together to discuss the ten foundations for a 21st century enlightenment.
In this first event, we will consider how Universal Basic Income could provide for real economic security and welfare.
In an informal setting, over drinks and nibbles, Fellows will have the opportunity to discuss the projects they are involved in that are helping to advance these ideas, to share their experiences about the obstacles they have encountered along the way, and – through the conversations sparked – to come up with ways that these challenges may be overcome.
Please see here to read more about the ten Foundations for Enlightenment.
The event costs £16 per person, to be paid for on arrival. This includes:
Grissini bread sticks
Wookey Hale Cave aged Cheddar, toasted sourdough and homemade chutney.
Spinach and kale falafel with soy yoghurt.
Smoked mackerel pate with pickled cucumber.
Cannon & Cannon British charcuterie, caper berries, chutney.
A glass of house wine (175ml)
A non-alcoholic cocktail
Please note that we will cater for the number of people who have reserved tickets. Therefore, if you are for any reason no longer able to attend, please let us know at the earliest possible opportunity or even better, find someone who would love to take your spot at the table! This is really important to make sure that we avoid any food waste. Thank you.
