The changes we make now and the expectations we set will affect climate change and the global economy for decades to come.

The RSA Coffeehouse is opening its virtual doors to our global community of Fellows, friends, family and colleagues. Inspired by the origin of the RSA as an enlightenment coffeehouse 300 years ago, our Virtual Coffeehouse Conversations event series offers an interactive space for Fellows to share and discuss ideas for social change. This is an opportunity to find support and feedback from the Fellowship community, with conversation and connection at its heart. We welcome attendees from around the globe to share stories, ideas and learn something new together.

The disruption caused by the virus gives us time to think about what we can achieve collectively for the future of our planet.

The intention of this participatory event is to explore climate change issues through an optimistic lens. During this event you will be encouraged to think about ways to turn your environmental concerns, expectations or beliefs into commitments and actions. Throughout the conversation we will listen for the positives and pay close attention to how collective worries can be streamlined into actions, big and small. We aim to hold a space for the silver linings in the pandemic and environmental clouds. Through this conversation we hope to uncover deep connections and compelling stories that will enable you to connect with positive change.

• What is within our control and within our sphere of influence?

• What qualities do we want to be known by?

• What are we learning about our hopes and our fears?

• What are we inspired by?
