This special event focusing on Salisbury Recovery has been bought together by Salisbury Civic Society and the RSA Salisbury Network are pleased to invite you to their joint meeting at Wiltshire College Salisbury Campus.

As the number of available seats is limited, places must be pre-booked via email (see details below).

There will be five speakers:

  • Alex Clancy from Wiltshire College, on educational opportunities
  • Carli Van Niekerk of Wiltshire Council, on the Future High Streets Fund projects in Salisbury
  • Stephen Oxley of the Salisbury BID, on business recovery
  • Helen Birchenough, SW Chair of the Arts Council, on cultural recovery
  • John Glen MP, who will give a strategic overview

The meeting will take place at the lecture theatre at Wiltshire College, Southampton Road, on Tuesday 28 September, with an initial registration session with tea and coffee available at 6.30pm. The meeting will get under way at 7pm, with an introduction and then an hour allowed for the speakers, followed by questions and discussion. We anticipate a finish by 9pm.

Seating will be widely spaced and the audience will be limited to a maximum of 80 attendees. We will follow Wiltshire College and national COVID-19 guidelines and procedures that apply at the time.

With a wide coverage of the work currently being done to ensure a bright future for the city following the recent difficult times, we anticipate a meeting which should be both interesting and valuable.

Venue: Wiltshire College Salisbury Campus, Southampton Road, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP1 2LW
