On Tuesday 22 November, we welcome guest speaker and RSA Fellow Gary Kemp. A singer, songwriter, musician and actor, Gary is best known for his time in Spandau Ballet, one of the most successful British bands of the 1980s New Pop generation. Spandau Ballet enjoyed global success, with Gary writing the lyrics and music for all 23 of the band’s hits. Gary continues to make and perform music, as well as presenting a podcast interviewing iconic musical artists, and has authored a critically acclaimed autobiography.

The event will begin with prosecco or soft drinks on arrival for all guests, before moving to the historic Great Room for a meal specially curated by chef Will Bowlby.

Will Bowlby is co-founder of Kricket, a collection of modern Indian restaurants combining British ingredients with the flavours and aromas of India. Will fell in love with Indian food whilst working in Mumbai and travelling around India to learn about its regional cuisine. After returning to the UK and further developing his experience at Vivek Singh’s Cinnamon Kitchen, Will grasped the opportunity to open Kricket - initially in a 20-seater shipping container at Pop Brixton. Kricket now operates three permanent locations in Brixton, Soho and White City.
