This November, you are warmly invited to participate in a series of Fellow-led discussions to explore the role of social science entrepreneurship and innovation in social change.

Are you interested in the intersection of evidence-based practices, innovation and entrepreneurship? Are you motivated by the RSA’s commitment to social change? Are you a founder, academic, leader, builder, or thinker with an interest in putting social science research into practice?

We’re pleased to share this series of Fellow-led discussions organised by RSA Fellows at Oxford University. Come along to discuss a number of in-market efforts at the edge of practical innovation, tackling the worlds’ most pressing societal and environmental challenges.

Find out more about the sessions below and book your free ticket for one or all of them.

Tuesday 22 November: The Practicality of Collaborating for a Regenerative Future

Venue: The Steps, RSA Coffeehouse

Our guest speakers from the 1928 Institute will be considering the capabilities and sustainability mindset that minority-led movements need to reach the tipping point for wider change in support of a regenerative future, as well as how to bring together groups across the ideological spectrum and disrupt echo-chambers. The 1928 Institute is a University of Oxford spin-out and is the continuation of the original India League (est.1928) which was chaired by Michael Foot and led by Betrand Russell.

Final event hosted at University of Oxford – details to be confirmed. Watch this space!

Taking part in RSA in-person events

We've been looking forward to finally being able to meet together in person, but of course recognise it is important for us to stay cautious and make the environment safe for everyone.

We aim to have assurances from all venues that they will have basic COVID-safety processes in place.

We’re asking all attendees of events to be respectful of personal space, to be mindful of others’ preferences in regard to social distancing and to respect those that are wearing face coverings.

To participate in the event, you will need to register for a ticket so we can make sure we have an up-to-date list of those who plan on attending. This is for capacity purposes.

We request that all attendees evaluate their own health and that of those they’re in close contact with. We encourage all attendees that are sick or showing symptoms of illness to stay home and to cancel your Eventbrite ticket if you are no longer able to join the event.

Given the ever-changing nature of the pandemic, please always check your latest national Government guidance in addition to following our baseline guidance enclosed here. If guidelines do change, the event may be cancelled at short notice.

If you have any questions, or to let us know of any access requirements or reasonable adjustments you require, please email: networks@rsa.org.uk
