Inspired by the RSA’s history as a social improvement organisation dating back over 250 years, our new First Friday Changemakers series offers an interactive space to share and develop ideas for social change.

On 2 December we’re joined by Tony Sheehan, one of the RSA’s Fellowship Councillors for Ireland, artistic director of Cork’s Triskel Arts Centre, and newly elected chair of the RSA Fellowship Council.

Tony will be giving us a history of the story of Triskel, the programme they’ve got planned for the coming period, and give us the lowdown on the arts sector more generally in the region. Tony will also be giving an insight into the RSA from his perspective, and the future of the Fellowship in an organisation with a renewed ethos and remit for the next decade.

Join us on the first Friday of the month for an informal talk from one of our guest speakers, followed by a chance to discuss the topic of the day or anything else on your mind, in small breakout rooms. We start at 2pm and we’ll be finished by 2.45pm, allowing you to enjoy your Friday afternoon with inspiring speakers and interesting colleagues.
