Inspired by the RSA’s origin in an enlightenment coffeehouse over 260 years ago, our new Northern Coffeehouse series offers an interactive space to share ideas for social change.

We’re joined by Paul Yeomans from Medical Architecture.

Paul has over 15 years of experience in healthcare design. He has substantial knowledge of the sector in areas of strategy, planning, design and construction and a proven track record of delivery. Paul has led the design of multiple award-winning buildings, notably, Hopewood Park mental health hospital in Sunderland, and The Jean Bishop Integrated Care Centre in Hull.

Paul contributes to best practice guidance in mental health facility design to raise standards across the sector and improve the experience of patients and staff across the UK and internationally. He is currently leading the design of the new specialist hospital building at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Join us most Fridays for an informal lunchtime talk followed by a chance to discuss the topic of the day or anything else that is on your mind, in small breakout rooms. Starting at 1pm and finished by 1:45pm, you can enjoy your Friday lunch break with inspiring speakers and interesting colleagues.
