This Fellow-led session invites you to consider where regenerative change begins: with the story or the storyteller? We offer a space at the intersection of inner transformation and collective visioning for RSA fellows, friends and colleagues to step into their agency and activate the imagination in service to our regenerative future.

In the unfolding narrative of a planet in crisis, we are navigating a chasm between stories. The once dominant narratives, rooted in extraction and human separation from nature, are bringing our planetary boundaries to a breaking point. Simultaneously, regenerative narratives of our interdependence with nature have yet to take root in the collective imagination.

Narrative foresight provides a useful framework for exploring the space between the “what is” and “what if”, helping us to see beyond the chaos and envision more hopeful visions of the future that pull us forward.

Our methodology combines futures thinking and storytelling to look at challenges and solutions through a fresh perspective. Using play with purpose, we aim to ignite the imagination and spark a sense of agency within.

In this free interactive event, we invite you to join us on the Steps to gain:

● Insight into the principles of narrative foresight and futures thinking through the lens of storytelling;

● A stronger sense of agency in nurturing regenerative futures;

● The chance to identify your role within the story of our unfolding future through playful dialogue;

● A practical toolkit to activate regenerative imagination to develop the insights gained during the session.
