Dame Elizabeth Corley

Elizabeth was appointed as an independent non-executive Director of Schroders in September 2021 and became Chair in April 2022.
She is a non-executive director of BAE Systems plc, Chair of the Impact Investing Institute and a Trustee of the British Museum. She was previously the CEO of Allianz Global Investors and a non executive director of Morgan Stanley Inc. and Pearson plc. She is a director of the Green Finance Institute; serves on the investment committee of the Leverhulme Trust; is a member of the CFA Future of Finance Advisory Council, AQR Asset Management Institute, the Committee of 200 and the 300 Club.
Elizabeth is a fellow of the RSA and is also a published author of crime thrillers. She was awarded a CBE in January 2015 and a DBE in June 2019 for services to the economy and financial services.
