Katherine Rundell is an award winning author and the youngest female scholar to be made a Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford.

Katherine Rundell grew up in London, Zimbabwe and Belgium. She is the youngest female scholar to be made a Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford. Her award-winning and bestselling books for children have been translated into thirty languages and have won multiple awards. In 2022, her biography of John Donne, Super-Infinite, won the Baillie Gifford Prize for Non-Fiction. The Golden Mole is long-listed for the 2023 Wainwright Prize for Nature Writing. Her new book Impossible Creatures is published by Bloomsbury in September 2023. She is a regular contributor to the London Review of Books.
