Kate Pickett, FRSA FFPH, is Professor of Epidemiology and Deputy Director of the Centre for Future Health at the University of York. She is co-author, with Richard Wilkinson, of the best-selling The Spirit Level (2009) and The Inner Level (2018). Kate is a co-founder and patron of The Equality Trust, trustee of the Wellbeing Economy Alliance and was Chair of the Greater Manchester Independent Inequalities Commission in 2020-2021
