Rob Greenland

Co-director, Zero Waste Leeds

Rob has worked in social enterprise most of his working life, starting out working for a fairtrade co-op and then working in a number of social enterprise support roles. In 2010 he set up Social Business Brokers CIC - a Leeds-based social enterprise that develops collaborative solutions to complex social problems. They have worked on a number of social issues, including social care and empty homes, and in 2018 they set up Zero Waste Leeds, which aims to help people to waste less in their daily lives. Recent projects include setting up Leeds School Uniform Exchange and Leeds By Example, working alongside environmental charity Hubbub to encourage more on-the-go recycling. Working alongside the RSA, last year they launched Leeds Fashion Futures, to explore how to work with people in Leeds to create a more sustainable future for fashion in the city.
