Access and accessibility

We want everyone to feel welcome and included in all the RSA has to offer. We welcome visitors with access needs, and have adapted the building to support an inclusive experience.

We can provide floor plans to help visitors find their way around and staff are available to provide assistance. We also have excellent public transport links with step-free access.

View our full accessibility guide for detailed information.

If you have any particular questions or require support ahead of your visit, please contact Ashley Brookes (our Head of Facilities).

Facilities

  • Toilets are available on every floor
  • Accessible toilets are on the ground floor and level 1
  • Baby-changing facilities are on the ground floor
  • A Cloakroom is available during events

Attending events

Open to Fellows and non-Fellows, events can be attended in person or online when available via streaming.

This year we open our doors to a bold new programme of live debates, discussions and performances at RSA House.

Booking

  • Booking is essential for both in-person and online events
  • Join our waiting list. If an event is full – returned tickets are reallocated
  • Important updates and joining instructions are sent via Eventbrite
  • Online attendees receive a YouTube livestream link on the event day. Event livestreams are hosted on our YouTube channel

If you are attending an event and require any additional support, please let us know.

On the day

  • Doors open 30 minutes before the event starts
  • Arrive early – events start promptly. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes ahead to find your seat.
  • Seating is first-come, first-served. We slightly over-allocate tickets to ensure a full room, so a ticket doesn’t always guarantee a seat.
  • Late arrivals will not be admitted so please arrive on time.

Photography and filming

  • Most talks and debates are livestreamed and recorded. By attending, you may appear in video, audio, or photography. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let us know in advance and on arrival.
  • Flash photography is not permitted.

Feel free to share your photos on social media and tag us @theRSAorg and @rsahouse.

Unmissable events on demand

We record all our talks and debates, so you never have to miss out.

Venue Hire

RSA House is a central London venue available for a variety of occasions – from conferences, corporate events and meetings to weddings, private parties and shoot location hire.

A bride in a white dress walks down the aisle with an older man in a suit, surrounded by seated guests in a grand hall with high ceilings and large classical paintings on the walls.
