A documentary on a Pakistani-British cultural exchange exploring how we think of Pakistan- a nation of pride and promise? Or a nation of prejudices?
What do we think of when we think about Pakistan? A nation of pride and promise? Or a nation of prejudices? It is, to many, a country of complexities, of old histories and cultures, but also new tensions and hostilities. Catriona Robertson and Malik Gul from the London Boroughs Faiths Network visited Pakistan as part of an inter faith and cultural exchange in February 2013. They visited colleges, churches, schools, community centres and cultural groups and spoke with imams and government leaders in civic gatherings and receptions. This film documents those they met, what they found and some of Pakistan’s challenges and opportunities.
