Queen Elizabeth II Room

The Queen Elizabeth II room was originally the main drawing room of No. 2 John Adam Street, a private residence in the Adam brothers’ Adelphi complex. Find out more about this room by taking the RSA House Blue Plaque tour.

Prince Philip Room

The Prince Philip Room was originally the Adelphi Room. This was once the main dining room of William Osborne's Adelphi Tavern at no.18 Adam Street. Find out more about this room on the RSA House Blue Plaque tour.

Prince Albert Room

The Prince Albert Room was named after Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, (1819 - 1861) as part of the updates to RSA House undertaken during summer 2023. Take the RSA House Blue Plaque tour.

Mary Moser Room

The Mary Moser Room was named after one of only two female founder members of the Royal Academy. Mary Moser was highly celebrated in her lifetime and greatly admired for her paintings of flowers. Take the RSA House Blue Plaque tour.

The Long Gallery

The Long Gallery was created as part of the Burrell Foley Fisher redevelopment in 2018. It incorporates the previous library's reading room into an extended space for reflection and collaboration.

The Library

RSA Library was extended in the 2018 redevelopment of RSA House to incorporate the smaller rooms around it and the Long Gallery. These facilities offer improved space for Fellows and visitors. Learn more on the RSA House Blue Plaque tour.

Henry Cole Room

The Henry Cole Room is named after Henry Cole, arguably the re-founder of the Society of Arts. He transformed it from a premium awarding organisation to one more closely aligned with his priorities. Find out more on the RSA House Blue Plaque tour.

The Great Room

The Great Exhibition

The Great Exhibition of 1851 was chiefly and proudly instigated by The Society of Arts. Held in Hyde Park, London, in its famous Crystal Palace, the Great Exhibition, attracted six million visitors and has been emulated many times since.
