Join us for this special event celebrating the 2017/18 RSA Student Design Awards programme and design as a force for social impact, with a keynote speech by past RSA Student Design Award winner Clive Grinyer. Clive is Chair of the RSA Student Design Awards Alumni, Design Advisor to the RSA, and was a trustee of the RSA 2010 – 2016. He is Head of Service Design at Barclays, and a visiting tutor at the Royal College of Art.
Clive will share his journey as a designer, followed by a presentation of the 2018 Awards by Rowan Conway, Director of Innovation at the RSA.
The RSA Student Design Awards challenge emerging designers to tackle pressing social, environmental and economic issues through design thinking. Our goal is to empower a generation of savvy, employable designers who understand the potential of design to benefit society, and we do this by running an annual Awards programme that challenges students and recent graduates to think differently about design, through tackling briefs focused on real-world problems.
