From crisis to sustainability -- Building capability for prevention

Fellowship Event

 -

Zoom/Online

Join RSA Fellows globally as we explore how we can shape a more resilient, socially just and sustainable world in the wake of the COVID pandemic. This is the first event in a six-part online event series co-hosted by RSA Oceania and the RSA Sustainability Network, which aims to build awareness and collaboration, leading to RSA projects.

In conversation with Anna Coote, Principal Fellow at the New Economics Foundation, we explore the issue of prevention. Preventative action requires decisions be made before problems become an urgent necessity -- the case for both COVID-19 and climate change. But how can decisions about prevention be made in a democracy, and be widely supported and implemented in domains including business and finance, and in society at large? And as we look towards recovery, what can we learn from the pandemic to prevent worsening climate change?

Please note, this is an online event open to the global Fellowship. Please check the timing in your region:

United Kingdom -- 8:00am BST
Sydney & Melbourne -- 5:00pm AEST
New Zealand -- 7:00pm NZST
