Neurology of power with Suzanne Alleyne

Fellowship Event / Online

 -

Online (via Zoom)

We’re continuing the series of bringing the RSA SW and What Next? West Chapter community together online to connect, check in and to hear from different speakers.

Join us on 7th December, our speaker will be Suzanne Alleyne FRSA. Suzanne is a cultural thinker, working at the intersection of academic research, business and culture. With a team, she explores, interrogates, & studies the big questions currently facing contemporary society. In 2016 Suzanne was one of 20 individuals awarded a major Arts Council England grant, designed to increase the diversity of leadership in arts and culture.

In the session, Suzanne will talk about her current project Neurology of Power, which looks at where power resides in the brain and the body. She will tell us how it relates to us as human beings, within the context of our personal and professional lives. Putting forth an argument that everything is interconnected, the talk will touch on resilience, profitability and the pandemic.

You may find it interesting to listen to this short 20 minute conversation between Suzanne and Akram Khan before the meeting.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions and join in a conversation around arts and culture.

Everyone is welcome, Fellows and non-Fellows.

Please book your place by following the Book Now button at the top of this page. Upon registering, you'll receive a confirmation email with a Zoom link needed to join the event.
