At this month’s Newcastle Network Encounter, we will hear from Paul Carney FRSA, author of Drawing to Learn Anything.
In this session, we will explore how drawing can improve the ability to retain information. Paul will demonstrate some simple techniques which can be used by students or teachers to improve memory and understand text, and there will be an opportunity to join in – all you’ll need is a pen or pencil, no drawing ability required!
Paul Carney FRSA is an NSEAD registered Primary and Secondary Art and Design education consultant from Newcastle-upon-Tyne. He provides bespoke consultancy work and hosts a number of Art CPD training courses for large, national training organisations and some independently organised. He is a published author and has written extensively about art education at all phases. Find out more at www.paulcarneyarts.com.
The event is free to attend and open to all, Fellows and non-Fellows. We hope you can join us!
