Inspired by the RSA’s origin in an enlightenment coffeehouse over 260 years ago, our new Northern Coffeehouse series offers an interactive space to share ideas for social change.

We’re joined by Charlotte Bowen from The Culture House, a Grimsby-based social enterprise committed to increasing engagement and participation in arts and culture. They do this by celebrating and utilising unique local landscapes, spaces and places, supporting talent development and providing a platform for a diverse range of artists to reach new audiences.

Established in 2010 and supported by Arts Council England, The Culture House is a leader in cultural delivery in North East Lincolnshire and beyond. They say they are passionate about connecting people with culture, and work hard to widen access where little cultural opportunity exists.

Join us most Fridays for an informal lunchtime talk followed by a chance to discuss the topic of the day or anything else that is on your mind, in small breakout rooms. Starting at 1pm and finished by 1.45pm, you can enjoy your Friday lunch break with inspiring speakers and interesting colleagues.
