Dr Ameena Camps
Just Transition Commission Scotland
Dr Ameena Camps is a Commissioner for the Scottish Government Just Transition Commission and a Director of Community Energy Scotland. Her professional career has taken her along various paths, working at an international and local level, with an energy and environmental focus and a technical background in geoscience and climate change mitigation. For the last six years, Ameena has been working in the third sector in community development with her greatest accomplishment being the delivery of UistWind – a community wind turbine project in North Uist, Outer Hebrides and she has just started a new role with Zero Waste Scotland as a Research Analyst.
