Abby Barletta

Abby is an Archive Assistant.

She was inspired to work in archives when she saw the body of knowledge kept at institutions such as The British Library and the Cecil Sharp House.

She gained an MA in Archives and Records Management from University College London last year and has a Masters in Music Performance from The University of Chichester.

Abby’s role as the archivist assistant is to assist the Head of Archive with the day-to-day running of the archive, including customer and staff enquiries, appraisal, cataloguing and accessioning. Abby has previously worked at The National Theatre and Transport for London Archives. She is also an avid singer and is training to become a rugby referee.
