Join us for an evening of networking and lightning talks as we explore how the RSA supports design thinking to unlock creative potential and champion a radical new era for design.
At the RSA, we work towards a mission to foster ‘the Power to Create,’ and with this goal in mind, design thinking can be a very powerful tool. We see it as vital that people and communities understand how they can unleash their creativity. The creative process is a mysterious one, but breaking it down through the application of design thinking can make it more tangible and straightforward, allowing more people to unleash their own creativity and help others to do the same. Design can help us to be more aspirational for ourselves and our solutions.
The RSA seeks opportunities for design thinking and design processes across all our projects and runs the esteemed RSA Student Design Awards, encouraging the next generation of designers to apply design skills in new and socially responsible ways. This event offers a unique opportunity to:
• Find out how we are embedding design thinking throughout our work at the RSA to help unlock creative potential and unleash the Power to Create
• Hear from from a range of inspiring Fellows that are using design thinking in their work and find out how you can get involved in their projects or benefit from their skills
• Watch some of the recent winning animations from the RSA Student Design Awards' Moving Pictures brief
As well as all of this, you will have the opportunity to make new connections in three networking sessions throughout the evening.
If you are interested in new radical design thinking, want to get involved in a potentially world-changing project, or just want be inspired by some great speakers, this is the event for you. If you are using design thinking to tackle the big challenges of the 21st century, we want to hear your story.
