Join this RSA ‘sounding board’ session focusing on the wellbeing of the self-employed and ways to tackle this.
Much recent RSA work has focused on employment, and in particular self-employment (the Taylor Review; The Self-Organising Self-Employed report). We are keen to explore the of the findings further in this event around how we can help self-employed people to tap into accessing ways to improve their wellbeing.
We’ll hear from Mark Hooper FRSA, founder of Indycube, cited in The Taylor Review for his work partnering with Community Union to launch a new platform for the self-employed. We will also hear from Becky Wright FRSA who will set the scene currently and put forward her proposed solution to this problem. There will be an opportunity to come together to discuss this solution and how it could work practically in and around Bridgwater. She aims to bring together business need with CSR underpinning values.
- How to create a wellbeing service for the self-employed
- What the next steps and learning from Indycube to make the idea a reality

RSA Sounding Board sessions are consultative forums for local Fellows and are looking to get more Fellows involved.
