  • Fellowship

Join us for our June 2018 Networking Event, to be held between 6-8pm on Thursday 21 June at the Oxford Centre for Innovation building, next to Oxford Castle.

This will be a panel session and open discussion with local experts on funding of social enterprises and ethical investing. The evening will be a great way to engage with local Fellows and understand more about what makes a fundable project.

Panel

Lisa Ashford, CEO of Ethex, the positive investment online platform that makes positive investing easy to do. This is similar to peer-to-peer lending for individuals or businesses.  Opportunities include UK community energy, social housing and arts and heritage-style projects.

Barbara Hammond, CEO, Low Carbon Hub Oxford City and Oxfordshire County. A social enterprise to reduce carbon emissions by 80% by 2050. It does this by working with community groups across the county to develop renewable energy and energy efficiency projects.

Grant Hayward, Supporter for Social Innovation and Social Enterprise. We have one of the strongest economies in the country but still face some challenging social and environmental issues. How can we develop new, creative, and collaborative solutions, and where do we get appropriate support?
