Yasmin Sidhwa FRSA is the Artistic Director of Mandala Theatre, a social justice company that uses the power of performance to change young lives, build communities and foster social justice.

Mandala Theatre is currently showing 'Night Light', a play based on academic research and the direct experience of refugees and young people seeking asylum who the company have worked with in Oxford and Birmingham. It specifically explores what happens to unaccompanied children who seek asylum in the UK when they turn 18.

The play will be touring theatres across the UK and in each city there will be a Mandala debate following the performance to discuss the issues addressed by the play. Each debate will have a panel made up of academics, refugees, NGO 'experts' and local councillors.
