The evening will focus on one of the RSA's new key themes: Public Services and Communities; plus the work of the new Project Engagement Team. Mark Pallis, the new Head of Project Engagement will provide a keynote speech.
RSA Engage will showcase great projects, connect you with other Fellows and help you to get involved and have an impact on new ideas.
Project pitchers include:
Gavin Shelton (FSRA) People’s Pantry
Gavin is piloting a start-up in Cambridge, The People's Pantry, with a view to scaling nationally. Connecting people to each other and nature through local, sustainable food. They are working with the National Trust.
Chiyedza Heri (FRSA) Utano Tea
A herbal tea company specialising in herbal teas indigenous to Africa. We aim to improve the health of the consumer & the wealth of the producer. Currently running an RSA crowdfunding project
Anne Bailey (FRSA) Education Initiative
After identifying educational disparities as a key strategic issue for Cambridge there is an education initiative, working in partnership with Cambridgeshire Council. The project is looking at establishing a philosophy & maths club within a couple of pilot schools.
Wendy Lansdown Abbey People
Abbey People is a local charity supporting people in Abbey in Cambridgeshire. They are looking to set up a mobile Coffee unit as a local social enterprise.
