Hear first hand from our team about the new RSA Student Design Awards briefs
We're excited to be hosting our first ever launch and tutor briefing event in Scotland. This will be a chance for tutors from different colleges and disciplines to come together to hear first hand from our team about the new RSA Student Design Awards briefs (available online from 1st September), as well as the student workshops and University visits we'll be running in Scotland this year.
The tutor briefing will be followed by a drinks reception and keynote talk by MAKLab Director Richard Clifford. The event is also an opportunity to meet Jamie Cooke, Head of RSA Scotland, and find out more about the RSA’s work and projects in Scotland.
If you have any questions, please contact Rebecca Ford: firstname.lastname@example.org
Location: City Art Centre, 2 Market Street, Edinburgh EH1 1DE
More about the RSA Student Design Awards
The RSA Student Design Awards (SDA) is the world’s longest standing, most pioneering design curriculum and competition for university students, having run for over 90 years.
The annual SDA programme issues project briefs that challenge emerging designers to tackle social, environmental and economic issues through design thinking.
We work closely with industry partners to develop the briefs, we help colleges and universities embed them in their curricula, and we support participants through workshops and mentoring. We provide award winners with practical and financial support to launch their careers - including paid industry placements, mentoring from industry experts and connections to the RSA's global network of 27,000 Fellows.
