Join us for an evening of networking and lightning talks as we explore how the RSA is advocating a shift towards a fairer sharing economy.
The sharing economy is a new system of creating value, based on maximising the potential of our underused human and physical resources, from our skills to our things. It has enormous social and environmental potential that has yet to be fully realised. As the sector takes shape, the RSA seeks to make sense of the sharing economy and how it could be radically transformative for the common good.
This event offers a unique opportunity to:
• Explore what the growth of platforms such as AirBnB and Uber means for us all and what the future might hold as new co-operative platforms begin to emerge
• Hear from the experts, such as RSA Senior Researcher Brhmie Balaram, as we uncover the sharing economy
• Meet the people behind projects that are bringing about a shift towards a fairer sharing economy
If you are interested in the sharing economy; want to get involved in a potentially world-changing project; or just want to be inspired by some great speakers, this is the event for you.
Drinks and snacks will be available on arrival. This event is free to attend but please register so we know that you'll be joining us.
Do you host a sharing economy platform? If so, we’d love to hear from you, so please do get in touch.
