Newcastle Encounter meets on the third Wednesday of every month. Our theme for March is "Doing Good Better: what can happen when economic, environmental, and social value intersect?"

Matt Wilson FRSA, Head of Partnerships at TLG The Education Charity, will share lessons learned from 20 years in the charity sector, including a critique of the poverty industry and the problems with some forms of philanthropy.

Matt's talk will explore positive new trends happening at the intersection of charitable activity and corporate citizenship.

Join us to connect with local Fellows, discuss ideas, and find out more about the RSA and Fellow-led projects.

Everyone is welcome and these events are free to attend. Please follow the "Book Now" link to register.

If you have any questions, contact Bill Gibbon FRSA: bill@billgibbon.net.

Location: BALTIC 39, 31-39 High Bridge, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 1EW.
