Join us for our next meetup on hospitals and social care on Tuesday 23 January.

Hospitals and care services are rarely out of the news. Our ageing population is a cause for celebration, but the way we fund and organise the essential care and treatment most of us will need in later life hasn’t kept pace.

Richard Humphries FRSA, Senior Fellow at the King’s Fund and Visiting Professor at the University of Worcester, and expert commentator on health and social care, will outline national politics and policy. Martin Samuels, Director for Adults and Wellbeing at Herefordshire Council, will identify the challenges in Herefordshire.

The focus will be on sharing and comparing ideas and practical local solutions that could improve health and social care services for Herefordshire’s citizens. This event is a partnership between the University of Worcester, Herefordshire and Ludlow College, and the RSA.

RSVP by Tuesday 17 January to studentHUB@hlcollege.ac.uk, or call 01432 365431 to reserve your place.

If you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please let the team know: networks@rsa.org.uk. Please also let us know if you have any dietary requirements or severe allergies.

Location: Herefordshire and Ludlow College, Folly Lane, Hereford, HR1 1LS
