Heritage professionals and volunteers in the South East are invited to join us for a free day of talks and discussion on sources of evidence and their practical use.
Chaired by Eve Poole, the symposium highlights the value of data for effective business planning, developing new audiences, and supporting funding bids.
This is an opportunity to network with like-minded people and share ideas addressing current issues and practices across the industry. This symposium (our second following The Business of Heritage in 2017) brings people together from the heritage sector across the south-east regions and furthers the potential for a regular heritage network supported by the RSA’s Heritage Network to support sustainability and increase influence.
The symposium is funded by the RSA, the Arts Council and East Sussex County Council. This symposium (which follows The Business of Heritage in 2016) brings people together from the heritage sector across the southeast and we are pleased to be working closely with the RSA Heritage Network to support the sector with becoming familiar and aware of different sets of data relevant to making the case for heritage. This event is an opportunity to network, discuss, explore and upskill.
