Join us for a special summer meetup of RSA Cambridgeshire in the beautiful surroundings of The Tithe Barn at Landbeach.
We’ll begin the evening with a short talk from the Tithe Barn Trust, the small charity committed to protecting and restoring the barn for community use. Tithe Barns are rare in the UK and this is the only remaining one in Cambridgeshire in its original condition with thatched roof, timber frame and granary, and brick threshing floor.
We’ll then get talking about the future programme for RSA Cambridgeshire – the events and projects we want to make happen from September onwards, building on the conversations and ideas you’ve shared up to now.
Around 7.30pm we’ll head off to continue the conversation at The Bridge in Clayhithe, on the outskirts of Waterbeach. If the weather is kind, we can sit outside, by the river.
If you have any questions about the event, please contact cecilia.tredget@eelga.gov.uk .
PS Please note: there is no electricity at the barn; there is one portaloo; pedestrian access is via an uneven grassed track, roughly 180m from Waterbeach Road. We regret that the Tithe Barn isn’t currently accessible for wheelchair users; The Bridge is fully accessible.
If you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please let the team know: networks@rsa.org.uk. Please also let us know if you have any dietary requirements or severe allergies.
