If we want to create or contribute to social change, we need to be able to get across our ideas and messages effectively.
Join the Fellow-led Islington Network for an evening in two parts exploring different ways to do this. First, three network members will briefly show techniques such as fixed time-change slide deck presentations, and watch a video about the neuroscience of persuasion; then it is for you to discuss these approaches and share your own methods.
The subjects will range from Architect Robin Nicholson's rapid-fire exploration of the Housing Problem, through Science writer Andrew Morris' even faster thoughts on 'Science for the many, not the few' and the experienced Journalist Ian Nash will share some tricks of his trade.
Come along to make new connections with others interested in the mission of the RSA based in and around Islington and discuss how to turn your ideas into action.
If you have any access requirements or require any reasonable adjustments, please let the team know: networks@rsa.org.uk. Please also let us know if you have any dietary requirements or severe allergies.
Location: Cullinan Studio, 5 Baldwin Terrace, London, N1 7RU
