This November, we are celebrating Rawthmells' first birthday by exploring the history of the RSA through the Rawthmells Mural. Join Anton Howes, RSA Historian in Residence, and Andrew Park, the mural artist, who will be in conversation about drawing history and the creation of the mural, an 11-metre artwork that tells the history of the RSA, from its inception to the present day.

In this second edition of a popular event, Anton and Andrew will explore how the RSA helped to change the world from the Enlightenment to the industrial revolution and beyond. They will share insights into the creative process, behind-the scenes sketches of the mural as a work-in-progress, and will reveal some of the secrets and in-jokes hidden in the detailed artwork.

We are delighted to invite you to this enlightening evening talk from the team that created the Rawthmells Mural.

Location: Rawthmells, RSA House, 8 John Adam Street, London, WC2N 6EZ
