Meet local Fellows and friends of The RSA at a Meetup organised by Fellowship Councillor, Sharon Jandu FRSA with Global Diversity Positive Action (GDPA). Spark inspiring discussions, share new ideas, and help shape the future of RSA activity in Kirklees & Calderdale.
You'll also find out more about Global Diversity Hub, a charity in central Huddersfield connecting the community through creativity. Global Diversity Positive Action works in disadvantaged areas of Kirklees with communities channelling creativity into sustainable career choices.
By bringing people together at the Global Diversity cafe, we hope to channel the energy and expertise of RSA Fellows to engage with the charitable objectives:
• Creating employment opportunities
• Promoting health and wellbeing
• Improving the attainment of disadvantaged communities – developing a culture of lifelong learning
• Encouraging social responsibility
• Promoting and recognising arts in the community
You'll have an opportunity to meet local Fellows and the RSA North team, find out more about GDPA and the RSA, and explore how you might get involved.
If you have an early-stage project or idea that you want advice on, or if you're looking to connect with others based on a specific topic, you may also have the opportunity to share details in a one-minute call-out to the people in the room. Please tell us more when registering a ticket.
To register a ticket, follow the ‘Book Now’ link above.
This event is free to attend and open to Fellows, friends, and colleagues interested in supporting the work of the RSA and Global Diversity. You are welcome to dip in for part of the evening or stay for the duration.
Location: Global Diversity Positive Action, 9 Ramsden Street, Huddersfield, HD1 2SX
