Jake Jooshandeh

Researcher, Economy, Enterprise and Manufacturing

Jake is a researcher within the Economy, Enterprise and Manufacturing team, with a particular focus on the Technology & Society programme. Within his role Jake will focus on issues such as the use of AI in public services, the spread of disinformation online, and the use and ownership of data. Beyond technology, Jake is particularly interested in issues related to inequality, economic deprivation and social mobility.

Previously, Jake worked as a social researcher for 2 years on a variety of projects related to healthcare, finance and behaviour change. He holds an MSc in International Relations from Bristol University.
