Events Producer

The RSA runs one of the UK’s most exciting programmes of public debate, providing a platform for leading international public thinkers and inspirational practitioners. RSA event podcasts, videos and animations reach a global online audience of millions, and engage a lively community of RSA Fellows and the wider public across a range of social media platforms. We need someone with substantial experience of live events management, who is engaged in and excited by contemporary culture, current affairs and ideas. You will design and deliver a range of events in the public programme, which includes keynote lectures, topical lunchtime talks and debates, panel discussions and policy Summits.

Senior Development Manager (capital appeal)

Circa £39,221 per annum (commensurate with skills and experience; pro rated to £19,610.50) + benefits

17.5 hours per week, fixed term for 9 months, based in London WC2

The Development Manager will be an experience trust and foundation fundraiser with a track record in raising funds towards capital development. Working with the Head of Business Development and Partnerships, their role will be to build funder relationships and develop grant proposals to support the RSA’s House Development Campaign. We are looking for a passionate and experienced capital fundraiser who can demonstrate that they have built relationships with major trusts and foundations to play a key role in this exciting campaign. Our ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, creative and a strong communicator with an ability to write concise and compelling copy for a trust and foundation audience.

Area Manager - Central

35 hours per week, full time, home-based from any Central UK location

This an exciting opportunity to work with our inspiring community of over 4,656 Fellows based in the Central UK area, in order to help them bring about social change. You’ll use your excellent relationship building skills, along with your commitment to the RSA’s aims and values, to make a tangible social impact in one of our largest geographical areas.In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a thriving local community for change. This will involve developing high-impact events, networks and activity for Fellows locally; effective volunteer and stakeholder management; and making active and valuable contributions to the wider Local Area Team’s work. You’ll be the key point of contact for our Central Fellows, who are committed to the power of human creativity to make a positive social impact.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the RSA Fellowship Team for a professional, flexible and experienced administrator. You will balance providing administrative and logistical support to the Director of Fellowship, with providing administrative support across all teams in the department, according to their different priorities. You will also have the opportunity to support and coordinate varying projects and initiatives, including coordinating the Life Fellows’ Network, increasing their engagement with the RSA by providing tailored communications and arranging event/network opportunities.
