Associate Director, Data Analysis

Circa £45,891 per annum per annum (commensurate with skills and experience) + benefits

35 hours per week, fixed term, based in London WC2

The RSA is seeking an exceptional senior data analyst to support us in further developing our data capabilities as a leading think tank and social change organisation. You role will be to interpret and visualise a wide range of data across the field of public policy, including in localities, to support our research and social change partnerships. By ensuring that all strategic RSA projects make most appropriate use of innovative data analysis and visualisation, you will help the RSA ensure the highest project quality from the early stages of development. You will be a very experienced analyst with a track record of working on major and complex projects with particular emphasis on use of data to achieve change. You will have a passion for the use of data for public good. With a proven interest in public policy and/or economics, you will be clear communicator who would expect to share your knowledge and insights both within the RSA and beyond.

The RSA is seeking an exceptional researcher with experience of a range of research methodologies to support us in further developing our methods and approaches as a leading think tank and social change organisation. You will work on projects across the Action and Research Centre which will give you an opportunity to develop our thinking and capabilities in fields ranging from the economy to public service reform. Your role will be to ensure, working across ARC, that we deploy the right methods at the right time to secure robust outcomes. You will be passionate about the role that the best research can play in helping society meet its varied needs and challenges.

A vacancy has arisen with the Public Events team at the RSA for an experienced and capable programme coordinator. The RSA runs one of the UK’s most exciting and ambitious programmes of public debate, providing a platform for leading international public thinkers and inspirational practitioners. RSA event podcasts, videos and animations reach a global online audience of millions, and engage a lively community of RSA Fellows and the wider public across a range of social media platforms.We are looking for a highly-efficient, responsive administrative all-rounder to support our extremely busy and collaborative team. A keen interest in and enthusiasm for current affairs and ideas is essential, along with first-class organisational and communication skills.

We are recruiting for a research assistant for the RSA's flagship action and research programme, the Citizens Economic Council.In this role you will support one of the most innovative and ambitious deliberative engagement projects in the UK. This will involve event administration (Council events, seminars, fellowship engagement events), desk based research and analysis as well as commenting on the development of the programme through blogs and newsletters. You would also support with desk based research and help draft the Citizens Economic Council's final report.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the RSA Academies Team for an experienced administrator. You will support the small RSA Academies team, with particular responsibility for finance, by ensuring the effective management of our £250,000 budget, communications, including updating the RSA Academies website, and organising events for the pupils or staff of the seven schools in the RSA Family of Academies.
